La Tour F will stand among Africa’s tallest and most iconic public buildings upon completion. With a building height of 333 m and a spire elevation reaching 421 m, the project is classified as a supertall structure (ITGH) and is set to become a new landmark of Abidjan’s Administrative City.
Metal Yapı has developed advanced engineering solutions for the project’s double-skin façade system. The outer façade envelope, covering a total area of 36,000 m², is composed of 16,000 glass panels and functions as a solar-shading system (brise-soleil), contributing to the building’s energy efficiency. A maintenance corridor located between the two façade layers supports the building’s long-term operation and maintenance requirements.
The façade concept, where architectural expression, structural performance and sustainability are addressed as an integrated whole, reflects Metal Yapı’s end-to-end façade engineering approach and its design capability in complex geometries.
