Designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, Tour Triangle introduces a new vertical landmark to the Paris skyline. Metal Yapı contributes to the project through advanced façade engineering solutions that transform the building envelope into a high-performance, multifunctional system integrating urban sensitivity, environmental performance, and user experience. The façade is engineered as a high-performance unitized curtain wall with a bioclimatic double-skin configuration, optimizing solar control, thermal buffering, and natural ventilation. The building’s distinctive triangular geometry minimizes shadow impact on the surrounding urban fabric while enabling dynamic visual transparency through low-iron, high-performance glazing. Integrated photovoltaic panels, operable façade elements, and recycled aluminum components support the project’s ambitious sustainability targets, including BREEAM Outstanding, HQE Exceptional, and Effinergie certifications. BIM-driven coordination ensures precision across geometry, fabrication tolerances, and façade structure interfaces. Beyond performance, the façade enables stepped terraces, accessible loggias, and panoramic public spaces, positioning the building envelope as an active interface between architecture, city, and user. The Tour Triangle façade stands as a benchmark for environmentally responsive, large-scale envelope engineering within a historically sensitive urban context.
