Rising in the heart of Manhattan, directly across from the United Nations Headquarters, the Turkish House (Türkevi Center) stands 171 meters tall with 35 floors, leaving a distinguished cultural mark on the New York skyline. Designed by Perkins Eastman, this prestigious tower embodies Türkiye’s strength, visibility, and cultural heritage through the language of contemporary architecture. Metal Yapı is proud to have engineered and delivered the building’s curtain wall façade system, combining aesthetic sophistication with advanced performance. Cultural Inspirations & Technical Achievements, Curved glass panels inspired by the crescent on the Turkish flag, A tulip-shaped roof, reflecting Türkiye’s national flower, Traditional motifs reinterpreted through a modern architectural approach, Blast-resistant façade systems, designed with high-precision engineering and successfully tested to meet international performance standards. Officially inaugurated in 2021, the Turkish House today stands as both a symbol of Türkiye’s global presence and one of New York’s modern architectural icons.
